On Campus Recruiting

Getting started with your accounting career begins with selecting a firm to work for. There are many accounting firms in the industry today, so how do you know which one is best for you? In order to help you navigate the crowded landscape, Spicer Jeffries is involved in your career decision-making process in the following ways:

Information Sessions

Throughout the year, Spicer Jeffries is host to several information sessions, usually conducted in association with a campus’ Career Services department. These sessions are generally hosted by two or more Spicer team members, giving individuals a chance to interact on a personal level with the firm. Our information sessions are aimed at giving candidates an opportunity to learn more about the firm by directly asking questions of its members. These sessions also provide a terrific opportunity for networking, submitting resumes, and interacting with possible employers in a relaxed setting.

Campus Interviews

Spicer Jeffries regularly visits college campuses to meet with potential candidates for new staff positions. Individual interviews are generally preceded by an information session. We work closely with the campus Career Services department to arrange individual interviews following information sessions. Be sure to stay in contact with your institution’s Career Services department to find out when Spicer will be visiting your campus. We believe it is very beneficial for candidates to work closely with their Career Services department in terms of resumes, interview preparation, and career-path goals.
